Thin Red Lion

The exhibition aims to investigate a state of alteration and reconfiguration that occurs when works meet the changing contextual variables of a space. In this case, context draws on  both its spatial nature and the environment's socio-cultural implications. This challenges an artwork or objects preconceived visual and conceptual value, transfiguring and effecting the viewer's perception.

We are a group of artists with cross disciplinary practices and interests in a broad spectrum of themes. However as a collective our overall conceptual shape is subject to a dialectical approach, considering an environment's ability to transform the physical and draw connections between the intellectual  content.

One variable that is at the top of our interests is space, and how space can affect the curation of artworks and artworks directly.

Adapting to new environments offers artworks the opportunity for new life, new qualities and to remodel their own structure. This modular characteristic makes space for the work's evolution, creating ecosystems that connect to existing spaces and grow into their parameters. This fluctuating state in a way forms a spatial continuum of constant ly differing configurations and transformations. It’s not just the  walls or floors that bind the works, but their own kind of temporary architecture. This holistic approach, capacity for continued rebirth and dialog with the rhythmical composition of the gallery space lends itself to original and authentic exhibitions.
